How to become a TEFA vendor
Texas homeschool families can only spend their TEFA funds in the official marketplace. If you sell curriculum, classes, tutoring or learning materials, getting approved puts you in front of them.

The steps
- Read the official providers and vendors page for current requirements.
- Apply through the Odyssey TEFA vendor portal. Odyssey and the Comptroller review each vendor.
- Check which of your products qualify. Approval can be item by item, so confirm each product's category.
- Once approved, search for yourself in the state Provider Finder and in the marketplace.
- Tell us so we can add a free listing here, with a link to your approval.
Tutoring and child-facing services
Third-party guides report that providers who work directly with children need background checks.
