Common questions

Can I pay for homeschool math curriculum with TEFA?

Yes. Math curriculum, online math classes and tutoring from approved providers can be paid for with the $2,000 homeschool award, as long as you buy the item inside the TEFA Marketplace.

Which TEFA math curriculum is best?

It depends on who will teach. If you want to teach math yourself, look at a parent-led program. If you want your child to work independently, look at an online, auto-graded program. If math comes inside an all-subject curriculum you already use, you may not need a separate program.

Can I use TEFA for a math tutor?

Yes, through an approved tutoring provider in the marketplace. Paying a family member to tutor is not allowed.
